Campaign Video

Campaign Video

The next task we were appointed was to create a Campaign video of our own choice. The video needed to consist of a length of 5-10 minutes long. Me and George decided to create a video based on something me and him do a lot which is leaving assignments last minute. We chose this topic because we felt like we could relate rather well to it.

We shot the video in Georges flat, the whole process took around 4-5 hours as well as editing which took 2 hours to finish. We found that shooting in the dark was tricky as you are limited with what you can see and do. A way we went around this was to shine a torch in the specific areas that we needed, this acted out as the light from the laptop and found that this technique worked rather well.

The concept of the video was to show two scenarios.  One was to show how how leaving an assignment last minute may create further obstacles and how everything becomes one big panic. The second half shows an alternative and how doing an assignment way before the deadline can help, causing less stress for the indervidual.
